10/2005 United States

North Carolina/USA/10/2005 - The first North Carolina workshop in 2005 brought again 10 cars to the college to switch them to SVO/WVO. Rachel Burton from Piedmont did - like always - a great job in organizing this great event. See comments from one of the participant here.

11/2004 United States

North Carolina/USA/11/2004 - Third workshop this year in North Carolina in cooperation with Piedmont Biofuels. Beside the well known Volkswagen and Mercedes Business we got this time Rachel Burton's Datsun on the list. Further info you might find here.

08/2004 United States

California/USA/08/2004 - In Hopeland some of our staff demonstrated our technology to visitors of the famous Solfest. Beside this we joined several talks to discuss advantages and disadvantages of different ways in biofuel technology.

02/2004 Faroe Islands

02/2004/Tórshavn In February we made a demonstration far away from the places we are usually acting, just on an island in the "middle of the ocean". Anyway, we count this project as very important, because especially islands have to care about their resources. Compare to the mainland you are more forced to use everything you got from the mainland. So the use of waste vegetable oil could be a good demonstration case for the "keep the dollar on the island" strategy. Just to make this really efficient we go even the right car for this: LUPO 3L.

12/2003 Denmark

Aalborg/Denmark/12/2003 - Together with the Danish Folkecenter we organised another conversion workshop in Aalborg. The main target was the further introduction of the conversion technology on small diesel cars. The most of these cars are running on local produces Rapeseed (Canola)-oil.

07/2002 Malaysia

Penang/Malaysia/07/2002 - Together with our Malaysian partner we completed the energy supply for the mobile unit with finishing the conversion on the mobile generator. This will supply the energy during the events at schools, universities, etc.. The car still run on new Palm oil and later on on used palm oil until today.

11/2001 Mali

11/2001/Bamako/Mali - After a 10 years break we came back to Mali with the conversion sets made for the most of local diesel pickups. During a 4 days stay we demonstrated the fitting of these kits to the local mechanics. The local oil source for these cars is local produced Jatropha oil.

2001/06 Thailand

2001/06/Bangkok After finishing our first project in Thailand successfully we start in June this year our second mobile unit in the country for another national organisation. Together with our well known partners we carried out the conversion in a local workshop in Bangkok. This conversion took again a lot of attention from media and we hope it will support the local farmers economy by using local produced fuels. Beside this we got the chance to get a better idea about the local diesel market by getting a tour organised by Mr. Sitthichai.

2000/06 Thailand

2000/06/Korat During our short visit we got the possibility to visit the finished project we started in 1998. The shuttle bus we converted was now fully equipped with alternative technology to demonstrate it to schools, universities, etc.. During one afternoon we we got the chance to see the unit in "full" action, surrounded by students from a local school. The are learning by carrying out different "hands on" experiments which will give them hopefully a great input for their "further" carrier.

06/2000 Malaysia

06/2000/Kuala Lumpur Together with our local long term partner we carried out a demonstration on a Toyota Hiace. The project continues the long term partnership with many organisations in this country. Fuel wise the car will be operated on palm oil, new and used one. Beside this a Kia Rocsta took place in this workshop.

11/1998 Thailand

11/1998/Bangkok In November this year we launched first time a conversion workshop in Thailand. Together with a Thai and Danish NGO we carried out a conversion on a Toyota shuttle bus in a local body workshop. We demonstrated the used of local vegetable oils based on palm or rice as fuel. We count this as an important step to support especially farmers by producing and using their own fuel. This technology works even with used cooking oil or non eatable vegetable oils like i.e. Jatropha.
